Fresh out the bag you can tell this girl leans toward the ether side of its lineage. An incredibly pungent dark berry funk comes spilling out topped with notes of sweet hazelnut.
These nugs are dense, dark purple with scattered hints of green, bright bright orange foxtails and a healthy trich coverage.
While this cultivar smells heavily of the Ether side of its genetics, I find it interesting that within this hybrid cross of multiple cannabis cultivars, the Gelato 41 lineage shines through the most on the flavor. For those wondering where 41 factors into this equation, Ether is Gelato 41 x Gushers.
The flavor is heavy on the buttery hazelnut gas you get from 41 with the slightest berry sweetness on the exhale. Volume is rather intense with flavor too, the terps linger on the palette for a while after exhale.
The smoke and burn of this cultivar was fantastic. White ash, slow burn, rich smooth smoke, and a healthy resin ring to top things off. Maybe a touch harsh for some but even that is a bit of a reach.
Effects are heavily concentrated in the body with a bit of mental cloudiness. Potency will vary by user but for me personally I was thoroughly relaxed for a solid hour and a half off this flower. Great for pain relief as well considering I’ve been incredibly sore all week from the gym and this has helped alleviate some of that soreness.
All in all, a rather gassy cultivar that I enjoyed thoroughly.
