Banana Pancakes

This girl was cultivated here in VA and let me just say she’s smokin’ just as good, if not better than most of what we’ve posted this year.

I love trying locally grown cannabis as the only hands that have touched it before me are the cultivator’s and it’s always so fresh and sticky.

When I cracked the jar I was greeted by a complex aroma of fresh apples and bananas, a gassy core and some other candy like notes floating around.

The flowers are mostly varied shades of green with subtle hints of purple here and there. Nice and dense, resinous flowers with a flawless manicure and impeccable humidity bring this girls grade to an A.

Upon breaking this flower down, the nose leaned more toward the banana side of the fruit spectrum but not necessarily actual bananas. More like a banana laffy taffy. The gassy core also gets dialed up a notch once you break it down.

Flavor-wise, there’s a bit of a mixed fruit terp but definitely mostly banana. Buttermilk pancakes shortly follow and upon exhaling the gas comes back. The flavor coats your whole mouth and lingers around for quite a while. It also lasts almost all the way to the filter which is just fantastic.

The smoke is rich and smooth. The burn is clean and the ash stacks nicely, holding itself together well as the smoke continues. This flower burns slow and makes the smoke that much more enjoyable. The full lung expansion had me taking extra long pulls and holding the smoke in a bit longer. I didn’t want it to end. 😂

The effects are full spectrum to the T. My whole body feels like it’s wrapped in a warm blanket. A good nights sleep is inevitable with this cultivar, along with some nice pain relieving effects that helped me out after a hard workout. Potency will vary by user but a single joint had me fried for 2+ hours.
