The full strain review of GMO (Garlic Mushroom Onions) by Jonah Grows
Ahhh some good ole GMO. I used to have a friend that was basically addicted to GMO and I kind of understand why. As soon as you open this jar you’re going to fill the room with a stinky, funky, pungent smell of savory cannabis. Before grinding, the bud leans heavily towards a jarred garlic scent with hints of rubber and charcoal hamburgers that you can’t stop smelling. When you’re ready to break this down, get your gloves ready because your hands will be coated in string cheese trichomes if not – I was struggling to get it off my fingers and into the grinder at one point. The broken down scent of the flower leans more to the rubbery smells you get from the jar with a subtle hint of freshness (almost lemony) that I can’t quite put my finger on. The first few tastes of the joint fill your mouth with something like a burger patty that’s been cooking extra long in a heaping pile of old burger/onion grease with some garlic powder. After enjoying that for a while, I was hit with a surprising taste of burnt incense or some type of similar fragrance. That was pretty much all I could taste for about half the joint until I started getting notes of something more savory like yellow onion mixed in. Overall a pretty good cut of the flower although I’d prefer a little bit smoother hits and a stronger, more pungent and funky flavor. Appreciate everyone involved for growing the flower and getting it to us to try!
